Chapter History

The Upsilon Delta chapter of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, established on June 9, 2024, proudly holds the distinction of being the organization’s first virtual chapter. The founding ceremony was conducted by Kelli Lozada Reese, National 2nd Vice President, and Dana Hollish Hill, South East Province Organizer, with the assistance of Fredda Lozada from Upsilon Gamma Chapter (Vienna, VA) and Carol Reinert from Beta Chi Chapter (Venice, FL). This historic event was attended virtually by several national leaders, including National President Jenny Mefford and immediate past leaders Marjorie Daniels and Marcy Colley. The Iota Beta Chapter (London, OH) hosted a watch party to celebrate this milestone, with many sisters expressing their excitement and support through letters, emails, and texts.

The charter members of Upsilon Delta are June Reese, Parker Hill, Miranda Hill, Chloe Liebowitz, Caroline Salwen, and Gabby Steel. Their inaugural official meeting took place on July 21, 2024, marking the beginning of a new chapter in sisterhood for Phi Beta Psi Sorority. The formation of Upsilon Delta showcases the adaptability and resilience of our sorority, embracing a modern model of growth while fostering connections among members in a virtual environment.
